Sitting in the moonlit shade of my tent in the Saudi desert, I pondered the idea of ​​riding a motorcycle through India.

In my mind's eye, I was already climbing through the clouds on steep and winding tracks and crossing the highest mountain passes in the world. That could be my next adventure, were it not for my fear of the unknown challenges that riding a motorcycle in India might bring.

I stared thoughtfully into my cup of steaming black coffee, reflecting the star-studded sky above me, and remembered what my grandfather had told me as a child: “Follow your dreams until you reach Thuraya!”

Thuraya is Arabic for the Pleiades or Seven Sisters constellation, and my grandfather encouraged me to live my life to the fullest and reach for the stars. As his words echoed in my head, I let the warm aroma and limitless taste of my coffee wash over me, fueling my dream and boosting my confidence.
